What is CCTV intelligence, in plain language?

No jargon. Here is what it actually means for your cameras to understand what they see.

"AI on my cameras" sounds complicated, expensive, and like something that needs a specialist to run. It is none of those things. Here is the plain-language version.

A recorder versus a receptionist

An ordinary camera sees pixels and stores them. That is all. CCTV intelligence means the camera understands what it is looking at - "that is a person," "they are at the gate," "they do not belong here," "it is 2am" - and tells you.

stores everythingvs"who is that?"notices & tells you

Think of it as the difference between a tape recorder and a good receptionist. The tape recorder stores every sound in the room. The receptionist notices who walked in, and flags the one person who looks out of place. CCTV intelligence turns your recorder into that receptionist.

What it means for you, day to day

"show me everyone who came in after 10pm"Two people at the gate22:14 - CAM 01jump

Instead of scrubbing through hours of footage after something happens, you get a plain-English alert while it is happening: "Unknown person at the east gate, 02:14." You can even ask it questions the way you would ask a person - "show me everyone who came in after 10pm" - and jump straight to the clip.

The camera stops being a thing you check after the fact, and becomes a thing that tells you.

And no, you do not rip anything out

What it is not

ALL CLEARalmost always - silentspeaks only when it matters

It is not a wall of dashboards you have to watch, and it is not surveillance for its own sake. Awera stays silent when everything is normal - which is almost all of the time - and only speaks when something crosses a rule you care about. Quiet by default is the point.

And it runs on the cameras you already have. A small on-site box connects to your existing feeds and does the understanding. That is the whole idea: cameras that notice, and tell you.
