Yes. It counts children and adults in view in each room, live, and shows each room against the ratio you set. That is the number a centre manager needs most, and it is honest because a room is one camera. Children on site today is counted at the front door against the register and can drift by one or two, so the register stays the register and the count is a check on it.
Yes. Set the routines you expect, room check at 09:00, nap room check at 13:00, gate check at 15:30, lock-up at 18:30, and Awera watches for the person doing them. Each shows done on time, late or missed for every day of the week, so the manager reads a grid instead of a signing sheet.
Nothing about an individual child. It counts children in a room and watches for the moments you have set: a child alone in view, a child heading for an exit, a door or gate left open, a room over ratio. It does not recognise faces. The footage stays on the centre's recorder. Only a clip of a flagged moment leaves, encrypted, with faces blurred on the device if you choose, and every viewing is logged.
Yes. Awera works with what a centre already has, from a basic DVR and CP Plus or Hikvision cameras to any camera that gives an RTSP or ONVIF feed. Eight cameras covering the rooms, the gate and the play area is a good centre. We check each one on day one, and the trial runs on up to ten cameras, so most centres are covered in full.
No. Children move. It flags a child alone in view for longer than the seconds you set, or a child at an exit with no adult in frame, and it flags a room over its ratio only after the minutes you allow. Those rules are tuned during the trial to how your rooms actually run. On the rare critical event a person still makes the final call.
Yes, and pick-up is exactly when it happens. When a carer goes to the gate and the room behind them goes over ratio, the manager gets a WhatsApp within the minutes you set, with the room named. Over the week the console shows which room and which time of day, which is nearly always the same half hour, and that is where a floating carer goes.
