Awera watches the CCTV your school already has and tells the office the moment something needs a person — a gate left open, a crowd building, a child who has not reached class.

Schools & campuses, on the cameras already there. Everything in this film runs on your own feeds: no new cameras, no rewiring. Watch with sound
Some of the things it catches on your campus, day and night:
A stranger past the gate, flagged before they reach the children.
A student climbing over the compound wall to slip in or out.
A student in the corridors or grounds when they should be in class.
A student leaving through a gate in the middle of the day.
Students doing what they shouldn't in a washroom block or quiet corner.
Something drawn or brandished in a corridor or the yard.
A scuffle, shoving, or a child cornered by a group.
Dangerous crowding at drop-off or dismissal.
A fall or collapse that needs someone right now.
Rooftop, labs, or staff rooms during the wrong hours.
Someone on the grounds when the school is closed.
A student on a mobile in class or an exam hall where it isn't allowed.
A camera covered, turned away, or suddenly blind.
Smoke or flame anywhere on campus, flagged in seconds.
An escape route or fire lane obstructed.
A bag left in a corridor, the yard, or at the gate.
A car in the bus bay, gate lane, or play area.
A leak spreading in a corridor or the basement.
Add your own checks in plain English — Awera watches for those too.
Who is on campus, which class is under, how the gate crush went, and whether the perimeter round and the locks are done.

Gate opened at 07:44, crush peaked at 07:55, attendance 94% by 08:20. Class 7C is under 85% for the third day and the year head has been told. Perimeter round, science block lock and gate lock are due this afternoon.
Example figures, shaped like a real week. The screens are the product’s own.
No rip-and-replace. Awera runs on the CCTV you already have.
Every feed is understood in plain language and checked against the rules above, 24/7.
Only what matters reaches your people — in seconds, on WhatsApp or a call.
The office sees the gate. The head sees the campus. The trust sees every school.
Nobody opens footage that is not theirs.
Set once, per person, per site.
A school group on one account: attendance and the gate, campus by campus, without a phone call.
Until a real person has it.
Both. The office and the head use the web console on a screen: attendance counted in by block, students on campus, the gate at drop-off, and whether the perimeter round and the gate lock happened. The alerts, a class under its threshold or a crowd building at the gate, go to the phone of the duty teacher or the site manager, by WhatsApp or a call.
Yes. One account with roles. The site manager sees the gates, the perimeter and the car park. The office sees attendance and the corridors. Year heads can be given only their block. The head sees everything, and a trust with several campuses sees all of them on one screen, without anyone changing another campus's rules.
It counts students in at the gate and at classroom doors and gives you attendance by block by 08:20, without recognising any child. It also counts who is in view of each camera live: the playground, a corridor, the library. Students on campus now comes from the gate counts and drifts a little through the day, so it is shown as a count at the door, not a register. Your register stays the register.
Yes. You set the routines: gate open at 07:45, perimeter round at 16:30, science block lock at 17:00, gate lock at 18:00. Awera watches for the person on the route and marks each done, late or missed for every day of the week. A missed lock reaches the site manager that evening, not after a break-in.
No. It counts children and watches for moments, a crowd at the gate, a student in a corridor during class, an adult who is not on the staff list inside the gate. It does not recognise faces, and nothing about an individual child is stored. The footage stays on the school's recorder. Only a clip of a flagged moment leaves, encrypted, with faces blurred on the device if the school chooses.
In most cases, yes. The Awera device sits beside your recorder and takes the feeds it already records, from Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, Axis and any ONVIF or RTSP camera, whoever fitted them. A very old low-resolution camera on a far corner of the field may not give a usable count, and we will tell you which on day one. The trial starts with ten cameras that do.
No. Children moving between lessons is a school. The rules are the school's: a student in a corridor during a lesson, more than the safe number at one gate, an adult inside who is not staff, after-hours presence in a block. Each is tuned to your timetable during the trial. On the rare critical event, a fight or a child hurt, a person still makes the final call.
Yes. Live, it tells the duty staff when the number at the gate passes what you consider safe, so a second gate opens before it becomes a problem. Over the week the console shows arrivals by five-minute slot, and the peak is almost always the same slot every day. Most schools find that opening the side gate ten minutes earlier halves it.
We show Awera running on a place like yours, map your top scenarios to the console, and give you an indicative price for your camera count. Then, if you want it, a 30-day trial on your own cameras.
