The alerts, a missing high-vis or a blocked fire lane, go to the phone of whoever is on shift.

Each one shows as done, late or missed for every day of the week, and a missed check reaches the supervisor the same shift.
It watches for the moments you have asked it to watch for: nobody in high-vis at the dock, a person inside a hazard zone, a fire lane blocked. It does not track individuals through the day or score people. The footage stays on your recorder, faces can be blurred on the device before a clip leaves, and who can see what is set by role. Many sites show staff the console so they can see what it does.
Usually, yes. The Awera device sits beside your NVR or DVR and takes the feeds it already records, from Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, CP Plus and anything speaking RTSP or ONVIF. Older analogue cameras through a DVR work too, though a very low-resolution feed limits what can be seen at distance. We check every camera on day one and tell you which ones are worth connecting.
No. A forklift in an aisle is normal work. A forklift and a person on foot in the same marked zone at the same time is what it flags, and only if you have drawn that zone. The same goes for PPE: it looks for the absence of high-vis where you require it, not for high-vis everywhere. The trial is spent tuning these rules on your floor until they are quiet.
A person on the floor who does not get up is one of the few things Awera treats as critical. It calls the on-shift supervisor, not just a WhatsApp, with the clip attached and the camera named, so they know which aisle before they start running. On a quiet night shift with two people on the floor, that call is the whole point.
